Craig and Gina Zegler welcomed Rachel Anne Zegler into the world on May 3, 2001, in Hackensack, New Jersey. She was given the name Rachel Green in honor of Jennifer Aniston’s fictitious portrayal of Rachel Green in the hit television series Friends. While her father is of Polish ancestry, her mother is of Colombian ancestry.
Zigler attended St. Philip the Apostle Preparatory School before enrolling at the catholic, all-girls Immaculate Conception High School, where she later completed her studies and graduated in June 2019.
While still a senior in high school, she began her acting career by participating in several musical productions. She performed as Princess Fiona in Shrek the Musical, Belle in Beauty and the Beast, Ariel in The Little Mermaid, Dorothy Brock in 42nd Street, and Ariel in The Little Mermaid.
