Shell (SPDC) JV University Scholarship Award 2022/2023
Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited (operator of the NNPC / SPDC / TEPNG / AGIP joint venture) is implementing a Social Investment in Education program aimed at enhancing academic excellence and enhancing the capabilities of Nigerian youths. Nigerian students with higher education have been accepted for full-time academic studies in the 2020/2021 session to apply for the university scholarship scheme.

Who can do it?
National Merit Award (NM) – Open to all Nigerians
Operation Merit Award – Open to Nigerians who are indigenes of SPDC workplaces in Bayelsa, Delta, Imo and Rivers.
Admission and requirements.
Must be a citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
FELLOW Students must be enrolled in an accredited and approved university in Nigeria
200 degree (as of January 2023) or proof of admission to a Bachelor’s program in the 2020/2021 academic session.
Must not receive any other scholarship from an organization working in the oil and gas industry, national or international.
How to apply
1. All applicants must have a personal email account and phone number (for regular contact)
2. All applications must be processed online
3. Applicants for the Operational Area Award must submit a scanned copy of their identification letter (they must be stamped and signed):
The supreme ruler of society; and
Chairman of the Community Development Committee or Community Executive Council (CDC or CEC)

Key point: Each scanned document must not exceed 200KB and the image format must be JPEG. Beware of fake websites when applying for scholarships online. Such websites, in some cases, even ask you to pay for the program before submitting the application. This is the wrong site to avoid.
