The police in Lagos state have arrested Esther Paul, pictured above, for reportedly stabbing her boyfriend, Sadiq Owolabi Dahiru, to death in the early hours of November 20 at Oba Amusa Street Agungi, Lekki.

According to police sources, the deceased’s stepfather, Kazeem Obafunso, alleged Esther stabbed his 21-year-old stepson at the Ilasan police station. Police officers were called to the site and took the corpse to the Evercare hospital in Lekki Phase 1 where medics confirmed his death.

Esther was caught right away, and the knife she reportedly used to conduct the crime was retrieved. The deceased’s remains has been deposited at the IDH Mortuary in Yaba for preservation and autopsy.
