Nepa people has started Nationwide strike

On Wednesday, August 17, electricity works in Nigeria threw the country in darkness as they embark on a nationwide strike.

In a statement, Ikeja Electric said, “Due to the ongoing nationwide picketing of Transmission Stations by the National Union of Electricity Employees (NUEE), we are currently experiencing disruption of power supply as most stations within our network have been shut down.”
