I pictured Nigeria to be Competing with the United State of America (USA) in the next 100 years with Good Economy , Electricity and some basic Amenities

An anonymous poster known as Mr Flawless posted online yesterday that Nigeria is likely to be competing with the United State of America in the next 100 years or more with Good Economy , Good Roads , Stable Electricity , Stable Water , Limited Poverty Rate , Increased Employment rate , Exclusive Fashion Styles  , Music and many others but Corruption , Bad Governance , Crazy Lifestyle , Insane Dressing , High Usage of Hard Drugs  and High Death rate might not likely seize in the country  .

Let’s Check out some Analysis:

HEALTH:

  • Be 15% less likely to be Obese
  • Live 25% years less   The average life expectancy is 80 years (78 years for men, 82 years for women) as of 2020. In Nigeria, that number is 60 years (59 years for men, 62 years for women) as of 2020 , and many young people are dyeing this days .  

LIFE:

  • Have 2.8 times more  children

In Nigeria, there are 34.6 babies per 1,000 people as of 2020 and that is likely to reduce from now because people don’t want to have many children again.

  • Be 19.0% times more likely to Die during Childbirth

In United States, approximately 19.0 women per 100,000 births die during labor as of 2017. In Nigeria, 917.0 women do as of 2017 and that is sure to reduce in the future.

ECONOMY:

  • Make 68.2%  More Money

In Nigeria, the GDP per capital is $5,900 as of 2017 and that’s increasing already .

  • Be 10.9 more likely to be Employed 

More businesses and companies is been set up daily which is likely to increase employment rate .

  • Be 40% likely to live below the Poverty line 

In United States, 15.1% live below the poverty line as of 2010. In Nigeria, however, that number is 70.0% as of 2010 and that has been reducing because many people has been really engaged in online remote and freelance jobs .

  • Pay a 39.4% lower Tax Rate 

United States has a top tax rate of 39.6% as of 2016. In Nigeria, the top tax rate is 24.0% as of 2016.

BASIC NEEDS:

  • Be 40.7% likely to have Access to Stable Electricity 

In United States, approximately 100% of the population has electricity access as of 2016. In Nigeria, 59% of the population do as of 2017 and there is likely to be an improvement.

  • Be 51.9%  sure Internet Access 

In United States, approximately 87.3% of the population has internet access as of 2018. In Nigeria, about 42.0% do as of 2018 and that’s increasing now because there are some specific places you can now use free Wi-Fi.

  • Be 21.3% likely Access to Improved Drinking Water

In United States, approximately 99% of people have improved drinking water access (100% in urban areas, and 97% in rural areas) as of 2017. In Nigeria, that number is 78% of people on average (93% in urban areas, and 64% in rural areas) as of 2017 and people have been having more boreholes drilled everywhere now.
