D’Sean Perry (22), Lavel Davis Jr., 20, and Devin Chandler, 22, both University of Virginia students and members of the school’s football team, were assassinated on Sunday, November 13th, by a former teammate, Christopher Darnell Jones Jr., 22.
D’Sean Perry, 22. Lavel Davis Jr. 20. and Devin Chandler, 22, all students of the University of Virginia, and all part of the school’s football team, were killed on Sunday Night November 13th by their former team mate, Christopher Darnell Jones Jr, 22.
Jones attacked the young men’s bus in the school parking lot as they returned to campus from a class trip to Washington, DC, where the class saw a play.
Two more pupils were shot but escaped unharmed.
Jones’ father informed him that his son had previously complained about being bullied by his teammates, leading him to leave.
Jones was arrested just before 11 a.m. on Monday and faces three counts of second-degree murder and three counts of using a handgun to commit a felony.
