COOU Admission Requirements For 2023/2024

Below are the requirements for candidates who wish to gain admission into COOU through JAMB (UTME):

• A minimum of 5 credits in the Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE/GCE) Ordinary Level Credits in a maximum of 2 sittings.
• You must choose the correct JAMB subject combination for your course. Check JAMB Brochure!
• Candidates must score at least 180 in the just concluded JAMB UTME examination to be offered admission into the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University.
• You Must Participate in COOU POST UTME/SCREENING to be considered for admission if any for the year.
• Candidates must have reached the age of 16.
• Additional requirements might apply for some programmes and these can be viewed after selecting the Programme and entry-level at the school website when you are about to obtain the post-UTME form.

COOU Admission Requirements For Direct Entry (DE) 2023/2024

Below are the requirements for candidates who wish to gain admission into Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University COOU through Direct Entry:

• A minimum of 5 credits in the Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE/GCE) Ordinary Level Credits in a maximum of 2 sittings.
• Candidates must have ‘A’ level/IJMB passes in two subjects that are related to their area of study.
