ASUU: “We shall meet in the future,” says a lecturer as he resigns and relocates abroad.
A lecturer identified as Dr. Oyedele has taken his destiny into his own hands as he informed his students that he won’t be available to review their project when ASUU calls off strike because he has resigned from the university and relocated ‘to the Abroad’.
The WhatsApp message a Nigerian lecturer left in the group chat of his project students notifying them of his resignation has caused a buzz on social media.
The lecturer, identified as Dr. Oyedele, informed his students that he won’t be available to review their project when ASUU calls off strike because he has resigned from the university.
He further disclosed that he has relocated out of the country in search of greener of greener pastures, and bade them farewell.
This comes on the heels of the lingering ASUU strike that began in February 2022 and doesn’t seem to have an end in sight.
While countless meetings have been held between the union and representatives of the Federal Government, they are yet to reach a mutual agreement.
