Bio of Zoe Wees
Wees was raised in Hamburg, Germany, where he was born. She has benign rolandic epilepsy and is currently 20 years old (BRE). She experienced “feelings of alienation from others, powerlessness, and lack of control” as a result of the disease.
Wees attended the Grund- und Stadtteilschule Alter Teichweg in Dulsburg to pursue his education.

Role of Zoe Wee
When Wees was a little girl, she began to compose music in English. When she was a teenager and her teacher approached her, offering to assist her in getting ready for a school show, she began to take her music seriously. Wees took part in The Voice Kids’ fifth season in the early months of 2017. During the Blind Auditions, she joined Sasha’s group of pop musicians. Wees was eliminated during the third of the competition’s five phases, the Sing-Offs.
Wees released the song “Control” on March 13, 2020. She included information about her battle with benign rolandic epilepsy in the song she created about worry, lack of control, and other topics. Her motivation for penning the song was to express her gratitude to the primary school teacher who helped her grow into the lady she is today. Then, on May 21, 2021, Capitol Records published Wees’ “Ghost,” which was also included on her debut EP Golden Wings. According to Wees, the theme of “Ghost” was “allowing someone get too close even if you know they might hurt you and about being susceptible to that person in a way that could ultimately wreck your life.” Ricardo Muoz Repko, VVAVES, Nicolas Rebscher, and Patrick Salmy all contributed to the song’s composition.
Eight singles have been released so far by Wees, two of which are from her EP album Golden Wings, which has received platinum and gold certifications. Other musicians who have used Wees include Tom Walker, Kygo, Moonbootica, and Felix Jaehn.

Nominations/Awards for Zoe Wees
Wees was named the Best Newcomer at the 2020 New Faces Awards Music (Bunte). She also won the Newcomer/Breakthrough category at the Bravo Otto Awards. Wees won Newcomer of the Year at the New Music Awards in the same year. In that year, she was nominated three more times.
Wees was nominated for six awards in 2021, including two each for MTV Europe Music Awards and two Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.
